Working with Landscape Water Workshop Coming
Orange Environment, Inc. will host a workshop on managing landscape water on July 19.
Orange Environment, Inc. presents the next workshop in its Practice Sustainable Living Series, Working with Water in the Landscape, taught by Christopher Harrison, licensed civil engineer and specialist in storm water mitigation and permaculture. On Saturday, July 19th, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm, at the Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery at 114 Little York Rd in Warwick, participants will learn how to: identify landforms and how they interact with water discharges, use simple design strategies to solve water flow problems, and participate in a hands-on activity on laying out contour and uniform slope lines in the landscape.
