Warwick Police Report 3 Serious Motor Vehicle Accidents in 3 Days
A UTV accident was fatal. Witnesses sought.
The Town of Warwick Police Department is investigating three separate serious motor vehicle accidents that occurred in the last several days. The Detective Unit is seeking any information and witnesses to these accidents.
On Friday, November 15, they received a report of a two car head on accident on Jersey Avenue. The first arriving officers updated dispatchers that the driver of a 2015 Nissan Murano appeared to have serious injuries and was trapped inside the vehicle. She was extricated by the Greenwood Lake Fire Department and transported by Greenwood Lake EMS to a landing zone where she was airlifted to Hackensack Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The second vehicle was a 2022 RAM 2500 pickup truck driven by a 51-year-old male from Stony Point. He was evaluated at the scene along with the two passengers from the truck and did not require further medical attention. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the Town of Warwick Police Department’s Detective Unit.
On Saturday, November 16, at approximately 2:22 p.m. officers responded to a motorcycle accident on Kings Highway with reported serious injuries. The motorcycle, a 2008 Harley Davidson, was operated by a 59-year-old male from Warwick. He sustained serious injuries. He was treated by Warwick EMS and airlifted to Westchester Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
The Warwick Police Department Detective Unit is investigating a fatal UTV accident that occurred at approximately 10:52 p.m. in the area of 330 Pulaski Highway. The first arriving officers began life saving measures on a 22-year-old male from the Village of Florida. He was transported to St. Anthony’s Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries . The female passenger, a 22-year old female from Wallkill, was transported by Warwick EMS to Garnett Health Medical Center in Middletown where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
