The Warwick Historical Society (WHS) hosts the "Shades of Blue," antique quilt show Friday through Sunday, November 24-26 at the Old School Baptist Meeting House- Lewis Park in Warwick, NY. The exhibit is open from 11:00 a.m-3:00pm.
The show features thirty-nine beautifully preserved quilts from 1820-1880 in various shades of blue. Curated by antique textile and quilt expert Sharon Waddell and the WHS Assistant Curator Niel DeMarino, the quilts and coverlets are artfully displayed over the pews and rafters in this circa 1810 church.
Warwick Historical Society volunteers will be available to share information about the exhibit, the church and historic Warwick. The event is free to the public, and donations to benefit WSH are appreciated.
