UpFront Summer to Fall Art Show Begins
The work of three women is highlighted in the show.
Among exhibitors at UpFront Exhibition Space Summer to Fall Art Show, opening August 2, is Rachel Gordon. She works in watercolor and adds ink to introduce more dimension. After a career in law in NYC, Rachel has found that being in a more natural environment has brought out her visual creative skills.
Also exhibiting, Joyce Lee has been studying watercolor painting for 10+ years. She focuses on painting the intricacies of nature.
Dani Cooney's painting "Lincoln" is a watercolor of her beloved dog. Her love of animals and natural landscapes prevails in her paintings. She is occasionally commissioned to paint animal portraits. Dani was born in Switzerland. Her family moved to New York City, where she studied at Pratt Institute.
