UpFront Exhibition Space Hosts Rick Savage Smit Quintet for "groove port" Series

The concert, along with gallery exhibit will be on Feb. 15.

Trumpeter Rick Savage brings a sound to jazz rooted in the music of Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard and Woody Shaw, whom Savage heard live many times. Some of the artists that Rick has performed and recorded with include Tania Maria, Jack McDuff, Nancy Wilson, Tony Bennett, Gerry Mulligan, Mel Lewis, Toshiko Aikioshi, Warne Marsh, Eliot Zigmund, Randy Brecker, Anthony Jackson, Nestor Torres.
