The Music of Eric Whitachre Choral Concert Coming June 8
The group recently performed at Lincoln Center.
The Delaware Valley Choral Society will perform “The Music of Eric Whitachre” on June 8 at 4 p.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church located at 210 US Highway 206 located in Branchville, NJ. The group was invited to Lincoln Center in April this year where they performed music of Eric Whitachre conducted by the composer. They will reprise his music in their concert, including his works, “Sing Gently,” “Sleep,” and “All Seems Beautiful to Me.” Works of other composers such as Ola Gjeilo will be on the program featuring cellist Suji Kim.
Tickets are priced at $15 for adults and $10 for students; children 5 and under are free. The Delaware Valley Choral Society is a non-profit group dedicated to performing major choral works in their original form.
