Robert Kopec Comes to Groove Port Music Series at UpFront Exhibition Space

Bassist Robert Kopec will be at UpFront on June 28

Robert Kopec is an acoustic/electric bassist,composer and educator from the Hudson Valley area of New York. He started his musical journey at age 6 and was playing his first professional gigs in his early teens. Robert’s love of all music has made him a versatile and in demand-side man, as well as an eclectic leader. He has shared notes with the likes of Eddie Bert,Hugh Brodie, Lew Soloff, Adam Nussbaum, Hal Galper and Kenny Werner. “If the musicians are enjoying themselves on stage, that goes right out to the audience, and that’s the beauty of sharing notes with everyone! “
