Rainwater Catchment and Composting Workshop Coming to Warwick
Orange Environment Inc. will sponsor "Rainwater Catchment and Home Composting" workshop on Saturday, April 27th, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery, 114 Little York Rd., in Warwick. Learn how to harvest rainwater for garden use, reduce flooding, and establish, build, and maintain a composting system. Instructors are Jim Hall, organic and biodynamic gardener, and Peter Lai, agronomist and certified permaculture instructor. The fee of $55 includes the cost of a rain barrel and components -- worth over $75 in value.
