Motorcyclist, 79, dies in Route 1 Warwick Crash on Saturday

The man was from New Windsor and died at Westchester Medical Center.

On Saturday, March 29 at about 10:40 a.m., the Town of Warwick Police Department, Warwick Fire Department and Warwick EMS responded to a motorcycle accident on County Route 1 at the intersection with Big Island Road. The operator of the motorcycle, a 79-year-old man from New Windsor, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted by a medivac helicopter to Westchester Medical Center. He was later pronounced deceased from the accident. The investigation is ongoing and if anyone has any information please contact the Town of Warwick Police Department Detective Unit.
