Youth Mental Health First Aid -
Monday, May 22nd from 10am to 4:30pm:
In recent years, youth mental health in the United States has moved from a point of crisis to a state of emergency.
Please join us at Warwick Cares in becoming an active force for prevention and an arbiter of healing for the youth with whom you love, live, teach, coach, volunteer, and otherwise engage.
As a Youth Mental Health First Aider, you will be equipped with the knowledge, information, and confidence to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenge.
Similar to physical First Aid and CPR, MHFA helps you assist a youth aged 12-18 experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis until professional assistance is obtained or the crisis is resolved.
Together, we can be greater than the sum of our parts.
