Funny Bunny Couple, Litter Trained and Looking for a Loyal Human
Abandoned in woods a year ago, they're playful and personable.
Chase and Zuma were abandoned in Warwick woods off Taylor Road and found on June 21, 2022, which was fortunate. Domestic rabbits don’t survive for long on their own. These two, a bonded pair, stayed together, managing to stay safe from predators like lurking fox and coyote, while looking for water and the food they were used to eating.
Chase is now a two-year-old brown Rex rabbit, and Zuma is a two-year-old black female rabbit. They enjoy exploring outside their large indoor enclosure and savor meals of fresh romaine lettuce, carrots, bananas, apples, red pepper and parsley, along with limited servings of rabbit pellets and an endless supply of timothy hay. They are litter box trained, play with their toys and like attention.
Chase and Zuma are at Warwick Valley Humane Society. Small animal adoption applications are available to download at wvhumane.org under forms and downloads or call 845-986-2473 for more information.
