Instructor Brenden Wagner, Restoration Coordinator for the Rondout Neversink Stream Program that protects New York City's Catskill Mountain Watershed, will reveal how to develop an organic and regenerative garden using permaculture methods.
Learn the importance of soil testing, amending soil organically, organic vs synthetic fertilizers and topsoil to meet your needs. Growing nutrient-dense pesticide-free food will not only create abundant habitats for pollinators and birds but also provide inspirational views and meditative spaces for personal transformation. Updates on current local community projects: Transformation Trail Park and focus on native edible meditation gardens, Warwick Arboretum, pollinator meadows, and opportunities for upcoming community involvement.
