December Hikes: One Energetic Hike, One Scenic Full Moon Hike
A 6.25 mile Port Jervis Outdoor Club hike on Dec. 17 will be followed by a scenic full moon hike on Dec. 26
For a 6.25 mile hike on sometimes rocky trails of the Port Jervis watershed,Outdoor Club of Port Jervis president Mike Ward suggests hiking boots for their stiffer ankle. This will be the club’s last long hike of 2023. The pace will be the “high end of moderate intensity.” Dress for the weather. Bring a snack and beverage. Mike Ward will lead.

Trails (Subject to change): 5 Bridges to Duke’s Crossing to Ohanzee to Poults Attack to Walt’s Keep to Outerlimits to Parking.
Weather permitting: Rain or ice will cancel. Snow will not
The last 2023 full moon hike will overlook the city of Port Jervis, with visible holiday decorations and lighting. Wear clothes and footwear suitable for the weather. Bring a flashlight and a snack and beverage. Led by Mike Ward.
