Buffalo Soldiers Celebration and Ride

Festive gathering and rides for Buffalo Soldiers memorial celebration, Sept. 1-3

The Buffalo Soldiers Association and Buffalo Soldier Riders of West Point, NY, will be celebrating the Association's 62^nd and MC's 10^th Annual Memorial Celebration over next weekend, 1-3 September 2023. 

The three-part event includes: 

• A Meet-and-Greet at the Red Roof Inn in Newburgh from 6-9 p.m. on Friday the 1st

• A Hills-and-Curves Ride (registration 9:00 a.m.; KSU 10:00 a.m.) on Saturday the 2nd that runs from the Red Roof Inn over the mountains to Highland Falls, where there will be a fish fry (starting at 1 p.m.) in Roe Park and the Buffalo Soldiers MC 10-year anniversary celebration at the Wiona Fire House (starting at 6 p.m.) with food, drink and music.

• A short Buffalo Soldiers MC Cavalry Run (registration 9:30; KSU 10:30) to the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Buffalo Soldiers Field at West Point on Sunday the 3rd, followed by a Memorial Luncheon at Eisenhower Hall. To purchase tickets, visit www.buffalosoldiersofwestpoint.org.
